Ways to Play in the Fall: Leaves, Football and more!

What a fun time of year! Kids getting settled back into the routine of school, the air turning crisp (or teasing us with snow) and kids still finding fun ways to play outside!

Some ideas for play include:

  • Raking the leaves and jumping (or trying to bike) through the pile!
  • Biking, I still remember listening to the leaves crunch under my wheels as I raced around the block growing up.
  • Hiking, go on an exploration to a local park. Collect interesting leaves or acorns that have fallen from the trees or checking out what bugs are crawling around.
  • Playing games in the yard or at the local park like kickball, tag or football!

What are some of your favorite ways to play in the fall?
